Purchasing Coordinator – On-site in Irbid

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator will support the procurement process for High Tech Talents (HTT) in Irbid, Jordan. Working on‑site, the role ensures timely creation and tracking of purchase orders, supplier communication, and inventory monitoring while adhering to company policies. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve cost‑effective purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process and track purchase orders for domestic operations.
• Research supplier pricing and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and maintain negotiation records.
• Evaluate and support qualification of new and existing suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, logs and procurement databases.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, deliveries and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Prepare purchasing reports and provide administrative support to the procurement team.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
