QA Automation Engineer

About the role

As a QA Automation Engineer at Servme, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our hospitality‑focused platform. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to embed testing into fast, scalable delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design automation test strategies based on business requirements and system specifications.
• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright or Selenium.
• Identify, prioritize and automate suitable test scenarios.
• Create automated API test cases to validate backend services and integrations.
• Execute test suites across multiple environments, monitor results and manage defects.
• Perform regression testing for new releases and bug fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps for smooth execution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate testing objectives with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑4 years of proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience in API testing and automation.
• Experience building UI automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or similar tools.
