Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to ensure the reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify defects, validate functionality, and contribute to high‑quality product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using Jira or similar defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA feedback.
• Ensure timely delivery of quality releases.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Manual testing (functional, regression, smoke).
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Jira or comparable bug‑tracking tool.
• Basic API knowledge and API testing.
• Familiarity with Selenium or similar automation tools (basic).
• Experience with Postman or Swagger for API testing.
• Basic SQL for database validation.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
