Quality Assurance Section Head

About the role

A pharmaceutical manufacturer in Al Qastal Industrial Area, Amman, is looking for a Quality Assurance Section Head. The role leads and oversees the implementation of assigned QA systems and GMP compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements through technical oversight, process discipline and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee QA systems such as Change Control, CAPA, Deviations, Documentation Control and Supplier Qualification, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ensure consistent application of GMP requirements and identify compliance gaps, coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders
• Plan, support and take part in internal and external audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations and readiness for regulatory inspections
• Review and approve quality-related documentation within delegated authority, keeping records accurate, complete and compliant
• Oversee investigations, root cause analysis and closure of deviations, CAPAs and change controls, and the effectiveness of implemented actions
• Guide and support the section team, manage priorities and deliverables, and support QA-related training and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with Quality Compliance, Production, QC, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Engineering and other functions so quality requirements are built into operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Excellent command of English

• Strong experience in QA systems, including CAPA, deviations, audits, documentation control and supplier qualification
