Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Egis is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Amman office. You will manage costs, contracts and commercial aspects of construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse cost estimates and cost plans across design stages, aligning them with project scope and approved budgets.
• Participate in design development meetings, providing cost input to support informed decisions and maintain design‑to‑budget compliance.
• Identify, track and report key cost drivers, risks and opportunities, escalating issues to senior team members as needed.
• Undertake detailed quantity take‑offs and measurements from drawings and BIM models for cost planning, option studies and tender documentation.
• Contribute to design‑led value engineering exercises by preparing comparative cost analyses and option evaluations.
• Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of commercial and cost risk registers.
• Provide comprehensive cost inputs and reports to support project steering committees.
