Radiology Technologist – MRI Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with strong MRI expertise to join our diagnostic imaging team. The role involves performing a wide range of complex imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality image production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex imaging procedures using general X‑ray, mobile X‑ray, DEXA, operating‑room radiology, multi‑slice CT and MRI equipment.
• Operate CT scanners for non‑contrast and contrast‑enhanced studies, including head, abdomen, pelvis, angiography and oncology protocols.
• Conduct MRI examinations covering neuro, musculoskeletal and abdominal imaging.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and screen for contraindications.
• Collaborate with radiology supervisors or on‑call radiologists for uncertain cases.
• Maintain radiation exposure within international safety limits and perform quality‑control tasks.
• Participate in emergency imaging, on‑call duties, and shift coverage (day, evening, overnight, holidays).
• Contribute to departmental KPI monitoring and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑graduate experience in medical imaging.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work on call, holidays and overtime as needed.

Required skills

• Operation of multi‑slice CT scanners.
• Performance of MRI examinations (Neuro, MSK, Abdominal).
• Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
• Experience with general X‑ray, mobile X‑ray and DEXA equipment.
