Regional Manager – MENA

About the role

Aston University is seeking an experienced Regional Manager for the MENA region to lead its international recruitment and partnership activities. The role is fully remote within the Middle East and reports to the Deputy Director International Recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and recruitment plans to meet international student targets across the MENA region.
• Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with agents, feeder schools, pathway providers and other B2B partners, ensuring ROI and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide market intelligence, risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Represent Aston University at promotional events, student interviews and stakeholder meetings throughout the region.

Required profile

• Significant experience in international student recruitment or regional business development, preferably within the MENA market.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UK higher‑education regulations (UKVI, GDPR, CMA).
• Negotiation and commercial contract management expertise.
