Resource Planning Manager

About the role

The Resource Planning Manager will lead manpower planning and resource optimisation across all operational departments, ensuring efficient use of staff to meet operational targets while minimising overtime costs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manpower planning, analyse operational data and report directly to the CEO.
• Promote a safety culture and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Generate, manage and recalibrate forecasts for model assumptions based on past performance.
• Determine full‑time equivalent (FTE) needs for all operational areas.
• Produce cyclical and monthly rosters for each department.
• Drive improvement projects to implement efficient procedures and technologies.
• Monitor workforce costs, report on targets and identify optimisation opportunities by cross‑referencing planning data with other datasets.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10‑12 years of experience in MRO or Aviation operations, with strong background in planning, forecasting and business analysis.
• Knowledge of change management, labour laws and regulations.
• Accredited certificates in resource planning, Six Sigma or PMP are a plus.
