Risk Specialist – Enterprise Risk & Business Continuity

About the role

The Risk Specialist will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks. The role ensures consistent risk identification, assessment, reporting and continuity readiness across the Group and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate risk identification, assessment, measurement and documentation across the Group.
• Apply and embed approved ERM methodologies, tools, templates and techniques in daily activities.
• Support the maintenance of the Group ERM framework, policies, procedures and standards, ensuring alignment with COSO ERM and ISO 31000.
• Facilitate risk workshops, guide subsidiaries and Risk Champions on risk processes, and review risk registers for completeness and consistency.
• Track emerging and strategic risks, monitor risk ownership and escalate gaps or overdue actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics (e.g., Power BI, GRC platforms) and prepare periodic ERM reporting packs.
• Support the implementation of the Group BCM framework in line with ISO 22301, monitor subsidiary adherence, and coordinate BCM testing, simulations and crisis drills.
• Review test outcomes, identify gaps, and track remediation actions to closure.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of internationally recognised risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience facilitating workshops and guiding risk identification, assessment and treatment processes.
• Ability to analyse risk data, produce clear reports and present findings to senior management.
