Ruby on Rails Engineer – Backend

About the role

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend services that power our coaching platform. You will work closely with product, frontend, data engineering, and QA teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance APIs for web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Create and document robust APIs for mobile apps, web platforms, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with product goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on backend engineering experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Ruby on Rails
• SQL and database design

• Automated testing and delivery of production‑quality code
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and AWS (preferred)
