Safety Specialist

About the role

Teeba, Jordan's leading FMCG company, seeks a proactive Safety Specialist to oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental practices across all its sites. The role ensures compliance with HSE regulations, conducts risk assessments, and promotes a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
• Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure employees follow occupational health and safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate HSE training sessions, emergency drills, and safety awareness activities for employees.
• Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and evacuation procedures across all company sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Certification in Occupational Safety & Health; NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards and audit practices.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HSE reporting systems.
