Safety Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure a safe working environment across our hotel facilities, including the pool area. The role involves implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and providing training to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies in line with local, national and international regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits of all hotel areas, including pool and guest zones.
• Lead safety awareness and training sessions for employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, prepare detailed reports and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, trainings and corrective actions.
• Ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and oversee its compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety‑related matters and support management in safety improvement plans.
• Monitor pool surroundings for guest and staff safety, ensuring cleanliness and functional safety equipment.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to hospitality environments.
• Excellent investigative and reporting skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff on safety procedures.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with PPE management and compliance.
• Competence in preparing incident reports and corrective action plans.
