Sales Development Representative (AI Insurance Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join an AI‑driven platform that accelerates insurance analytics for property and casualty carriers. You will be the first point of contact with Managing General Agents and large carriers, helping them replace costly, weeks‑long consulting projects with rapid, data‑rich insights delivered in 24‑48 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting to generate a qualified pipeline of insurance‑focused accounts.
• Book qualified meetings with decision‑makers such as product leaders, actuaries, and technical managers.
• Research and identify MGAs and carriers that match the ideal customer profile.
• Personalise outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn to a technical audience.
• Maintain accurate activity data in the CRM.
• Progress to enterprise outreach for top carriers as you ramp up.
• Work within a land‑and‑expand model to open new accounts and grow them over time.
• Collaborate with the founding team on messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy.

Required profile

• 2+ years of outbound SDR/BDR experience with a proven self‑sourced pipeline.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Comfort selling a technical, complex product to sophisticated buyers.
• Nice to have: experience selling into insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries; background in AI, data, or technical SaaS sales; familiarity with multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles; exposure to a land‑and‑expand sales motion.
