School Counselor (International School)

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Counselor to support the well‑being and development of its students aged 3 to 19. Working within an IB‑world international environment, the role contributes to a safe, inclusive and thriving learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and administrators to promote student well‑being.
• Uphold the school’s AA Values of Creativity, Integrity, Well‑being, Collaboration, Respect, Discipline and Educational Excellence.
• Maintain accurate confidential records and contribute to safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in counselling, psychology, early childhood development or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in schools or comparable settings.
• Non‑criminal record certificate.

• Strong communication skills.
• High levels of organization and time‑management.
• Solid IT skills.
