Security Officer – Healthcare Flex

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking motivated individuals to join its flexible security team serving healthcare facilities. As a Security Officer – Healthcare Flex, you will select shifts that fit your schedule through an exclusive shift‑pickup platform, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple sites while maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring for irregular conditions or safety hazards.
• Respond to alarms, fire, or unauthorized presence by notifying police, fire department, or emergency services.
• Enforce site rules, warn violators, and control access to the property.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of company property.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain required logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Issue emergency notifications as required by site post orders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license (if operating a vehicle).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Minimum age 18 (21 if armed, depending on state).
• Reliability and adaptability to various post assignments.
• Capability to operate radio or telephone equipment and console monitors.
