Security Officer – Property Patrol & Guest Assistance

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees and property assets at our Aqaba location. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor security systems and respond promptly to incidents and emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control guest room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock and unlock property entrances as required.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries and daily activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons and support police or external assistance when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.
• Participate in investigations, evidence gathering and interviews.

Required profile

• Strong observational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.
• Physical ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, safety training and licensing requirements.
