Senior Accountant

About the role

E&E Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Amman office. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead core accounting activities and support strategic financial decisions for a growing multinational pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review general ledger entries, monthly and annual financial statements, and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycles, monitor cash flow, and execute bank reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid business planning.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, handle tax filings, and coordinate external audits.
• Provide financial insights to management and contribute to continuous process improvements and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, preferably within pharmaceuticals, healthcare or distribution.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining financial data to non‑finance stakeholders.
