Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team within the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in Saudi Arabia. You will lead external audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their expectations and service level requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulation and risk management to business processes and controls.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, clearly defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, coordinating tasks and providing accurate information.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the engagement.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in external audit, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of audit regulations, risk management, and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying audit issues and proposing solutions.
