Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js, TypeScript, Redis Streams

About the role

BEANZ is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance services that power its innovative café solutions. You will work on a modern tech stack, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help shape the platform’s scalability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement Redis Streams for real‑time data processing and event‑driven architecture.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure stability, security, and scalability.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices that meet business requirements.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold code quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and infrastructure as code.
