Senior Clojure Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Clojure Developer to join our engineering team and help shape the next generation of modern backend platforms. The role involves designing and building robust distributed systems and scalable APIs while collaborating closely with product, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust distributed systems using Clojure.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Clojure and ClojureScript.
• Experience with functional programming principles.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and open‑source contributions.
• Background in fintech, SaaS, or high‑scale systems is desirable.
