Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer

About the role

MBC Group, the leading media and streaming company in the Middle East, is looking for a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate highly available cloud platforms that support its broadcasting and VOD services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE) and container services such as ECS and Docker.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins, to accelerate software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and adopt GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash and Python scripts while monitoring performance and availability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, define best practices, mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS and/or GCP services.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration (EKS, GKE, ECS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Solid background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Preferred certifications in AWS, GCP or Kubernetes.
• Experience in the media, broadcasting or streaming industry is a plus.
