Senior DevOps Engineer – Consultant (Jordan)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Technology and Transformation Engineering practice in Jordan. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to accelerate software delivery, improve reliability, and automate infrastructure at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation to provision cloud and on‑premises resources.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive remediation.
• Automate manual processes to increase deployment speed and reliability.
• Integrate security and compliance requirements into DevOps workflows.
• Document DevOps processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth software releases.
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing, training, and continuous learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud environments.

Required skills

• Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps (or equivalent CI/CD tools).
• Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation (IaC tools).
• Docker and Kubernetes (containerization and orchestration).
