Senior Information Management Officer – Amman

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Information Management Officer to lead the aggregation and mapping of humanitarian services and infrastructure across the Gaza Strip. Based in Amman, the role supports evidence‑driven planning for the occupied Palestinian territories.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and integrate service and infrastructure data from response partners, UN agencies and local actors.
• Produce comprehensive maps and databases that reflect ongoing humanitarian programming in Gaza.
• Coordinate with ACTED, UNDP, UN‑Habitat and other stakeholders to ensure data consistency and relevance.
• Support multi‑sectoral assessments, displacement site mapping and market analyses.
• Provide analytical insights to inform coordination, operational planning and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience in humanitarian data management.
• Ability to work independently and engage confidently with a wide range of partners.
• Strong interest in the humanitarian context of the occupied Palestinian territories.
• Flexible, solutions‑oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
