Senior Interior Designer

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design of commercial, corporate, hospitality and mixed‑use projects. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role will manage day‑to‑day project execution from concept through construction documentation, ensuring compliance with the approved budget, design approvals and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior concepts, mood boards, material sample boards and FF&E schedules.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications and coordination details for structural, MEP and other building services.
• Manage and mentor a team of interior designers and detailers, overseeing design interpretation and documentation.
• Coordinate with the client’s project manager, consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction.
• Monitor project progress against the authorized budget and approved design proposals, seeking HOD approval for any deviations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of interior design experience, including at least 4 years in a senior role.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and deliver projects across multiple building types.
• Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Interior design concept development and space planning.
• Preparation of construction documentation and detailing.
• FF&E specification and scheduling.
• Coordination of structural, MEP and other building services.
