Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a proactive Senior Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for materials, equipment and services needed across its operations and projects. The role focuses on driving efficiency, supplier performance and cost optimisation while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in line with company procedures.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare supplier quotations (RFQs) to recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure timely delivery and track order status against project timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier records, contracts and purchase history.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and commercial terms while upholding quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to quality or service, and support spend analysis initiatives.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in operations, facilities management, waste management, logistics or industrial services.
• Strong commercial acumen, coordination abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems for purchase order processing.
