Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Quality Professionals (Q-Pros) is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen its software testing team across the Middle East and GCC. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality software releases through rigorous manual testing and close collaboration with development and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review software requirements and specifications to identify gaps or ambiguities.
• Participate in defining test strategies and detailed test plans.
• Design test scenarios and author comprehensive test cases.
• Execute functional and non‑functional manual testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Report, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Prepare and distribute testing reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality control and software testing.
• Professional testing certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a positive, professional attitude.
