Senior Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Associate to support its mission in Jordan. Working under the Senior Resources Management Officer and the National Supply Chain Officer, you will help ensure that goods and services reach beneficiaries efficiently, transparently, and at the best value.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Officer in implementing procurement activities in line with IOM internal controls.
• Ensure bidding processes are fair, transparent, and compliant with the IOM Procurement Manual.
• Coordinate and monitor property and asset management, warehousing, insurance coverage, fleet, and transportation.
• Identify challenges in supply‑chain operations and propose actionable recommendations.
• Implement control and monitoring procedures for procurement and contracting, guaranteeing competitive and transparent bid analysis.
• Track purchase order status and keep project managers informed of delivery timelines or changes.
• Maintain and update the vendor/contractor accreditation and evaluation database to ensure a reliable pool of suppliers.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in supply chain management and procurement within an international or humanitarian context.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and internal control mechanisms.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess bids and monitor contracts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple units and external partners.
