Shop Representative

About the role

The Shop Representative will serve as the front‑line contact for Umniah customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction while promoting the company’s telecom products and services. You will work in a retail environment, greeting customers, answering inquiries, and guiding them through self‑service channels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and maximize up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities using the Oracle CRM system.
• Promote newly launched Umniah products and services to increase awareness and adoption.
• Drive sales through active engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge sharing.
• Maintain a professional shop image, greet customers warmly, and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Document sales by creating or updating customer profiles and archiving contracts accurately.
• Resolve or escalate customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Guide customers on using self‑service channels such as IVR, social media, the Umniah app, and website.
• Contribute to shop KPIs, including sales targets, mystery shopper scores, quality metrics, and service level targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a related sales or customer‑service role.
• Desirable certifications in communication and selling skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of consultative selling, negotiation, persuasion, and deal closing.
• Familiarity with telecom products and services.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with Oracle CRM system (desirable).
