SOC Team Leader – Managed Security Operations Center

About the role

The SOC Team Leader will head ZainTECH's Security Operations Center, ensuring 24x7 monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of detection capabilities. This role combines technical leadership with operational oversight to meet customer SLAs and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily SOC operations, manage shifts, and guarantee continuous monitoring coverage.
• Oversee incident handling, escalation, investigation, and coordinate high‑severity incident response.
• Mentor, coach, and develop SOC analysts; conduct performance reviews and support recruitment.
• Drive improvement of use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, participate in customer meetings, and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and NCSC licensing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in SOC operations.
• Proven experience leading security operations teams.
