Software Engineer – NestJS, Next.js & React Native

About the role

CartBuz is looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join its on‑site team in Amman. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components of a fast‑growing multi‑vendor e‑commerce platform, using NestJS, Next.js and React Native.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable APIs with NestJS.
• Build responsive web interfaces using Next.js.
• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications with React Native.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Contribute to performance optimisation and continuous improvement of the platform.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, data structures and software architecture.
• Proven experience in back‑end development with Node.js and NestJS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and object‑oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of Next.js and React Native for web and mobile development.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with e‑commerce or marketplace platforms is a plus.
