Supervisor – Loss Prevention

About the role

The Supervisor – Loss Prevention is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and employees. Working full‑time on‑site, you will lead security operations, conduct safety inspections, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a professional and courteous environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and control access for guests and staff.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document entry to restricted zones.
• Conduct emergency‑response drills, daily hazard inspections, investigations, and key‑control audits.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain confidentiality, and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, handle complaints, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic‑beverage regulations and proper code‑response procedures.
• Assist management in training, motivating and coaching staff, and act as a role model for the open‑door policy.
• Maintain professional appearance, uniform standards, and protect company assets.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or jog for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Capability to read small print, visually inspect equipment, and operate computers or point‑of‑sale systems.
• Strong communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and ability to prepare written documents accurately.
• Commitment to confidentiality, safety standards, and quality expectations.
