System Analyst – Cybersecurity Directorate (Jordan Armed Forces)

About the role

The Cybersecurity Directorate of the Jordan Armed Forces is seeking a full‑time System Analyst to join its Electronic Systems team in Amman. You will evaluate existing information systems, identify improvement opportunities, and translate operational needs into clear technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct system and business process analysis, documenting workflows and current state architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and integrations.
• Support configuration, testing, and rollout of new functionalities, ensuring alignment with security policies.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation, user guides, and performance monitoring reports.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 15 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to work in high‑reliability, military or government environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a solid foundation in IT concepts.
• Effective communication skills for documenting requirements and collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
