Tax Services Specialist

About the role

The Tax Services Specialist will join Azadea Group's Business Services team to manage tax processes and support the preparation of tax returns across all countries in the group. This role ensures compliance with both internal tax policies and local tax legislation for direct and indirect taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data required for the group's tax filings, covering corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and other direct/indirect taxes.
• Prepare and maintain reports and reconciliations to enable timely and accurate tax return preparation.
• Review accounting transactions and supporting documentation to verify compliance with tax policies and local regulations.
• Collaborate with the regional tax team and internal stakeholders to answer tax‑related queries.
• Assist the regional tax team in assembling documents and reconciliations needed for tax audits or group‑level filings.
• Deliver high‑quality internal customer service by meeting SLAs and promptly following up on requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Two to four years of experience in accounting and tax compliance, preferably in a Big Four firm or large corporate environment.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
