Technology Delivery Risk Manager (Manager Level)

About the role

The Technology Delivery Risk Manager provides high‑touch, rapid‑turnaround risk support for priority technology pursuits and engagements. Working closely with pursuit/bid teams, delivery transformation, legal, contract management and quality functions, the role identifies, assesses, negotiates and mitigates legal, commercial and operational risks to protect the firm while enabling winning deals.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage allocated high‑/medium‑priority opportunities end‑to‑end, delivering early risk identification and pragmatic mitigation throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
• Provide daily risk consultations with Risk, Bid/Pursuit and Quality teams to surface and manage risks early.
• Collaborate with delivery transformation and business stakeholders on enterprise technology programs such as SAP transformations, ServiceNow implementations, Oracle ERP/HCM and AI‑enabled components.
• Identify delivery risks across scope, dependencies, integrations, data, security, testing/QA, cut‑over, hyper‑care and operating model readiness.
• Advise pursuit and delivery teams on optimizing risk‑reward trade‑offs while maintaining governance compliance.
• Support critical terms‑and‑conditions negotiations during the bid phase under the Client Contracting Governance Framework.
• Perform commercial review of contracts in line with central contracting approvals and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology risk management, preferably within large professional services or consulting environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery models, including SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle ERP/HCM and AI components.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, contracting, delivery and quality teams.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on protecting firm interests while enabling deal success.
