Tendering Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tendering Engineer to join the Tendering Department of Efficiency for Engineering and Electrical Equipments. The role involves preparing technical and commercial proposals for electrical and power projects and supporting the bid submission process.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and costing documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations and technical support.
• Prepare compliance sheets, technical submittals and ensure timely submission of bids.
• Follow up with clients and consultants regarding submitted offers.
• Support project handover after award.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in tendering, estimation, technical sales or electrical engineering.
• Good command of English and Arabic.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of electrical systems, generators, UPS systems and power distribution.
• Ability to read technical specifications, drawings and bill of quantities (BOQ).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
