About the role
The Territory Account Executive expands Autodesk’s business across a defined geographic area, driving new revenue and expanding existing contracts. Reporting to a Territory Sales Leader, the role works closely with inside sales, partner management, and field sales teams to meet quarterly and annual targets.
Key responsibilities
- Create and execute a territory business plan that aligns resources with customer needs.
- Develop and implement selling strategies that leverage industry knowledge and technical insight.
- Identify Customer Business Initiatives and craft solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the account team to ensure unified account strategies.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads, own the sales cycle, and expand Annual Contract Value.
- Build relationships with key executives and act as Autodesk’s representative in presentations.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage opportunities.
- Participate in regular account team calls to share updates and insights.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven success exceeding sales quotas.
- Fluent English with excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and robust industry knowledge.
- Experience managing and growing a portfolio of mid‑market accounts in complex business solutions.
- Demonstrated executive‑level selling and relationship‑building capabilities.
