TNAP AMP Manager – Pavement & Airfield Projects

About the role

The TNAP AMP Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing pavement and airfield maintenance, rehabilitation and construction projects in Jordan. Working closely with managers, the R&O section and Engineering Flight, the role ensures that sustainment projects are prioritized based on mission criticality and failure probability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans in line with approved base development plans.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of failing systems to define project scope.
• Coordinate the quarterly Sub‑AMP Working Group and lead design reviews for pavement projects.
• Update the Pavement Condition Index in PAVER and act as liaison for the Traffic Safety Council.
• Prepare civil site‑work drawings, water and sewer designs, and integrate multidisciplinary inputs into project documentation.
• Perform construction inspections, quality‑control checks and submittal reviews beyond standard construction‑manager expertise.
• Oversee runway, taxiway, apron, shoulder and drainage system projects, ensuring minimal impact on aircraft operations.
• Monitor pavement conditions, prioritize maintenance needs and support pavement‑management programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years in project management.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. passport preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a residency visa for Jordan.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust, high temperatures and long hours.
