Unit Mail Handler

About the role

The Unit Mail Handler supports mailroom operations for CALIBRE’s Area Support Group in Jordan. You will ensure timely, secure, and compliant distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail within a deployed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Handle accountable, registered, and express mail while maintaining accurate tracking logs.
• Verify identification and authorization of personnel receiving mail.
• Maintain compliance with DoD postal regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Keep the mailroom organized, clean, and inspection‑ready.
• Process directory mail and redirect mail as required.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DD Form 285 mail card.
• Meet all requirements under DoD 4525.6‑M.
• Minimum six months of mail handling experience within the past three years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) background investigation.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and customer service skills.
