Wall Painter

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Wall Painter in Aqaba. The position keeps guest rooms, public areas, outlets and back-of-house facilities looking good through professional painting and decorative finishing, in line with Accor and Mövenpick brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior walls, carry out touch-ups and decorative finishing throughout the hotel.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling cracks and applying primer before painting.
• Work in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, restaurants, meeting rooms and back-of-house locations.
• Ensure colour matching and finishing quality meet brand standards.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests about wall finishes and paint defects.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and materials in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete work orders efficiently.
• Follow health, safety, fire and environmental regulations when handling paints, chemicals and equipment.
• Protect the worksite so as to minimise disruption to guests.
• Assist the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when needed.

Required profile

• High school certificate or vocational training in painting and decorating.
• At least 1 year of painting experience, preferably in hotels, resorts or commercial facilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good time management and organisation.
• Flexibility to work shifts and support operational needs.

Required skills

• Surface preparation, paint application techniques and finishing methods.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of painting tools and materials.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
