Web Developer Consultant

About the role

The Arab Women Organization of Jordan (AWO) is seeking a qualified Web Developer Consultant to enhance the Tareeq digital platform. The consultancy will focus on improving functionality, accessibility, and community engagement for women and girls, including those with disabilities, across vulnerable communities in Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate a Service Mapping Section that lists protection and prevention services in Mafraq Governorate, with filtering and search capabilities.
• Create a Home‑Based Businesses (HBB) and Income‑Generating Activities (IGA) Section to showcase women‑led enterprises, including profiles, photos, and descriptions.
• Upgrade the platform’s overall accessibility to meet the needs of users with disabilities.
• Collaborate with AWO to ensure the new sections align with project objectives and data structures.
• Provide technical documentation for the newly built sections.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a web developer, preferably in consultancy or project‑based settings.
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices for web platforms.
• Ability to design and implement searchable, filterable data sections.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with AWO staff and project partners.
