Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant specialized in Accounts Receivable to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing the full A/R cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, cash handling, and timely collections while supporting broader accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify invoices and ensure all expenses are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date A/R records, including aging, credits, collections, and write‑offs.
• Perform daily cash management tasks such as recording bank deposits, updating cash receipt logs, and posting to the A/R sub‑ledger.
• Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to monitor and collect outstanding balances.
• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses to give management insight into collection performance.
• Support other accounting and finance team members as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Knowledge of the Shipping & Clearance field is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
