AI and Robotics Engineer - Associate

About the role

We are looking for an AI and Robotics Engineer (Associate) to join PwC Middle East’s Emerging Technology Lab. In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team to turn emerging technologies into tangible prototypes, demos and client‑facing experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and integrate AI‑powered robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions.
• Develop rapid prototypes using robotics, AI, computer vision, embedded and edge‑computing technologies.
• Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Research and evaluate new robotics platforms, sensors, actuators and AI models.
• Write software for perception, control, navigation and human‑machine interaction in robotic systems.
• Integrate computer‑vision and multimodal AI capabilities using state‑of‑the‑art models and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, researchers and business stakeholders.
• Test, validate, troubleshoot and optimise robotic and AI solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers and document system architectures.
• Support client workshops, demonstrations, lab tours and innovation showcases.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in Robotics Engineering, AI Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline.
