AI Frontend Engineer - Associate

About the role

PwC’s AI Centre of Excellence is looking for an Associate AI Frontend Engineer to create engaging, production‑grade user interfaces for AI‑driven products. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to translate AI capabilities into intuitive web experiences for clients across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Develop single‑page applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Apply modern state‑management solutions such as Redux, Zustand or React Query.
• Implement UI components that follow the corporate design system, including token theming and right‑to‑left (RTL) support for Arabic.
• Integrate front‑end features with AI back‑ends via REST, GraphQL and WebSocket, handling streaming data and long‑running tasks.
• Build secure authentication flows (OAuth/OIDC), role‑based access control and mitigate CSRF and clickjacking risks.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests using Jest, Testing Library and Playwright/Cypress.
• Optimize performance through code splitting, memoization and lazy loading, and capture UX telemetry (Web Vitals) for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production‑grade web applications.
• Strong understanding of design‑system implementation and RTL considerations.
• Ability to work with AI services and handle real‑time data streams.
• Familiarity with security best practices for front‑end applications.
• Commitment to testing, performance tuning and data‑driven iteration.
