Analyst, ML Engineering

About the role

The Analyst, ML Engineering will join Hikma Holding’s AI team to support the design, testing and deployment of machine‑learning models and AI‑powered pipelines for the pharmaceutical business. Working under the Sr. Manager, IT Digital Platforms & Digital Transformation and guided by the AI Architect, the role offers hands‑on experience across the full model lifecycle in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, training and evaluating ML models, following architecture standards and initiative briefs.
• Perform data exploration, feature engineering, model selection and performance evaluation using cloud AI services.
• Maintain experiment tracking, model versioning and reproducibility documentation with tools such as MLflow or Azure Machine Learning.
• Build and sustain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation and basic feature engineering.
• Support data quality checks, anomaly detection and dataset preparation in line with governance and privacy rules.
• Help package, deploy and monitor models in cloud environments, contributing to ML‑Ops pipelines.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in machine‑learning engineering and willingness to develop skills rapidly.
• Ability to work under senior technical guidance and collaborate with data and analytics teams.
• Familiarity with regulated pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
