Art Teacher (IB)

About the role

Amman Academy, a leading bilingual IB school in Jordan, is looking for an Art Teacher to join its faculty. The successful candidate will teach art across the Pre‑Kindergarten to Grade 12 range, supporting the school’s commitment to creativity, innovation and educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver art lessons in line with the International Baccalaureate framework.
• Assess student work through written and subject‑specific assessments.
• Participate in demo classes and faculty interviews as part of the school’s recruitment and quality‑assurance processes.
• Uphold the Academy’s values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field.
• 2–4 years of teaching experience in a similar setting.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
• Familiarity with the IB system is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong communication abilities.
• High levels of organization and time‑management.
• Solid IT proficiency.
