Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Egis is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering complex engineering and construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with design consultants, client representatives and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in day‑to‑day project management activities.
• Coordinate tasks between design consultants and client representatives.
• Monitor project programme, milestones and deliverables, flagging delays or risks.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, meeting minutes and action trackers.
• Support scope management, change requests and risk registers.
• Organise multidisciplinary design reviews and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Track consultant performance against contractual obligations.
• Assist with procurement, technical evaluations and contract administration.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops and client presentations.
• Ensure proper document control and compliance with quality procedures.
• Support construction phase activities such as RFI responses and progress tracking.
• Contribute to project close‑out, handover documentation and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to monitor schedules, risks and actions effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
