Assistant Security Manager

About the role

The Assistant Security Manager supports the security team in protecting the property, guests, and employees. Working on‑site at the 5th Circle location in Amman, the role combines routine patrols, emergency response, and coordination of safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access points.
• Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured zones.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, provide first aid/CPR and contact EMS when needed.
• Prepare incident reports, maintain confidentiality and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage laws.
• Support management in training, coaching and enforcing company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and respond quickly to security incidents.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unaided.
• Willingness to follow all safety and security procedures and report hazards.
