Associate Oncology Business Partner

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Oncology Business Partner to drive cross‑functional initiatives that enhance patient journeys and accelerate adoption of its oncology portfolio. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, diagnostics, market access and brand teams to deliver value‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local account plans (TAPs) to exceed sales targets and HCP engagement goals.
• Engage oncology HCPs with approved indications and scientific data to support appropriate prescribing.
• Champion a patient‑centric approach by identifying gaps in the patient journey and proposing solutions.
• Collaborate with diagnostics teams to optimise testing solutions and improve outcomes.
• Align with market access and payer teams to deliver value‑driven solutions.
• Work with marketing and brand teams to tailor strategies to local customer needs.
• Lead science‑based discussions in rep‑led meetings with HCPs and decision‑makers.
• Identify new business opportunities within multidisciplinary teams and healthcare systems.
• Maintain high standards of compliance and uphold AstraZeneca’s ethical values.
• Provide continuous feedback on market trends, HCP insights and strategic opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a multinational.
• Experience in Commercial, Medical Affairs or Market Access functions.
• Background in specialty therapy areas such as Oncology, Hematology or Rare Diseases.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements.
