About the role
UNRWA is seeking an Audit and Verification Officer (P4) to join its Finance Department at headquarters in Amman. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity of the largest United Nations operation in the Middle East, supporting vulnerable communities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial audits and verification activities in accordance with UNRWA policies and international standards.
- Review and assess financial records, transactions, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance teams and provide recommendations for improving internal controls.
Required profile
- Highly committed personnel with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and respect diversity.
- Relevant experience in audit, verification, or financial oversight.
