Backend Django Developer (Mid/Senior)

About the role

Nextwo is seeking a skilled Backend Django Developer to join its growing team. The role focuses on building high‑performance, scalable backend services for clients across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Django.
• Build secure, high‑performance RESTful APIs.
• Manage asynchronous processing and background jobs with Celery and message brokers.
• Design, implement, and optimise relational (PostgreSQL) and non‑relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Implement real‑time communication features using Django Channels, WebSockets, and TCP networking.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior‑level professional with strong Django expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Django ORM, middleware, and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with Redis, Celery, and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proven ability to write and optimise complex SQL queries and design MongoDB schemas.
• Hands‑on DevOps experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
